Laura and Robert Sams are a brother and sister teaching duo. With backgrounds in film, music, natural science and education, the Sisbro team takes a positive, empowering, multi-media approach to environmental education.

Based in Okemos, Michigan, they travel all around the state presenting educational assemblies, speeches and workshops that use nature, art and humor as a springboard for learning. They specialize in programs for students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Laura draws on her graduate level study of environmental education to design age appropriate and teacher friendly educational materials. Their videos, teaching guides and presentation are also all tied to the educational standards and benchmarks of Michigan's Curriculum Framework.

Robert's experience in filmmaking has led to educational video projects such as a DVD accompanyment to the best-selling children's book, Stranger in the Woods. Their latest video project, Bearly Alike, a humorous program on bear behavior directed towards early elementary school students, stars and features the camera-work of Robert.
